woodiwoodi.com (pronounced "would I, would I," the punch line to an old joke that you'll have to ask your grandfather to tell you) makes the only complete line of oval wooden bumper stickers,
in two sizes. The larger size is approximately 3x5" and looks great on
the back of your car or truck, the smaller size (3.5 x 2 inches) makes a
great fridge magnet, but also looks good on the car, in a more
understated way. Whichever size you choose, you'll be the first one on
your block to sport the greenest, most made-in-America bumper sticker on
the planet!
All woodiwoodi products are made from local wood species
found plentifully here in the state of Maine
- either reclaimed materials or sustainably harvested, and
are manufactured using equipment made in the U.S.A. (the magnets we use are also made in America!*) The bumper stickers
you see here are made from White Pine
(pinus strobus) and Red Oak (quercus rubra), and we plan to make bumper
ovals made with wood from other parts of the country available as we identify
sources, so keep an eye on this site for updates.
Prices are $12 for large ovals and $7 for the smaller ones, and you
never pay for shipping!
*A NOTE ON MAGNETIC BACKING: Bumper stickers on cars should be removed at least once a week, especially during hot weather, otherwise they will adhere to the surface in a decidedly non-magnetic way. If this does happen they can be removed, with difficulty, though some of the backing will stick to the surface of the car and will need to be gently removed with a plastic putty knife or spatula. Of course, if you're planning on leaving it on the car forever anyway, there's no problem!
